FAQ
What is Glamping?
Glamping seeks to preserve all of the enjoyable elements of spending time in the outdoors while providing a comfortable environment to stay in. Dune Glamping domes are 430-square feet/900-square-feet with air conditioning, heat, running water, private bath, queen-sized bed, and full kitchenette.
Can I bring kids?
In order to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, our couple's domes are reserved just for couples. In the near future, we will have five family domes with seating and sleeping for 6.
Can I bring pets?
Yes! We do allow TWO dogs maximum per room, for a fee of $25/night per pet (sorry, no cats). All dogs must be leashed while outside and may not be left alone in the room(s) (unless crated) at any time. We do ask that you be responsible for your pet and respectful of our property and other guests.
Where are you located?
We are located at 15050 Lane 6 th North, Mosca, CO. We are 15 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Zapata Falls. We have the best view of the Dunes in the valley and are perfect for international dark sky viewing.
Do the domes stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer?
Each dome is insulated with a mini split directly above the bed that provides both heating and cooling and keeps the dome comfortable. Seasonally, each dome is equipped with an oscillating fan/space heater. To control daytime heat, we recommend guests keep the curtain closed, especially when you leave for the day to enjoy the San Luis Valley. Please keep the door closed to maintain temperatures and mitigate pests entering domes.

Can I drive to my dome?
Yes, there is space for 2 cars max per dome.
Are there TV’s in the domes?
To help you completely unplug and relax, our domes do not include a TV. Instead, we invite you to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings!
Do you provide Wi-Fi?
Please note we are located in a rural area, and phone service and Wi-Fi capabilities can be unreliable. In the domes, we provide enough Wi-Fi for scrolling socials, checking emails, and making phone calls.
Can we burn a fire in the fire pit year-round?
Yes. If there is a burn ban in effect, we will notify you the day of your arrival and will let you know when it has been lifted. Reservations cannot be cancelled or changed without penalty because of a burn ban.
Do you provide firewood?
No, but guests can follow the signs to purchase firewood from our firewood vending machine located on the property during your stay. Or, you can text and have it delivered to your dome.
